Hollow forms can be tricky for turners because you can’t see inside the form that you're turning, and chips and blowouts can happen quickly. But we make turning hollow forms easier and safer with our flat-bottomed tool bar and three distinct hollowing tools, in three sizes: Mini, Mid, and Pro. Our Mini Easy Hollower™ tools are perfect for small ornamental projects and tiny hollow forms; our Mid-Size Easy Hollower™ tools work great on medium to large bowls, projects and hollow forms; and for the most extreme large projects and deep-hollow forms our Pro-Size Easy Hollower™ will tackle the job without the need for any additional equipment. Handles are one-of-a-kind grained American Maple, with a copper ferrule that gives strength.

All Mid and Pro Easy Hollower™ tools come with a Standard Carbide Cutter already installed and a hex key that fits the mounting screw.

MINI EASY HOLLOWER™

Hollow forms can be especially difficult when your medium is a four-inch piece of wood and your tools are full sized. With EWT’s mini-sized hollowing tools, turning small items like ornaments, mini vases, and other hollow shapes is safer and easier.

Our Mini Hollowers are designed specifically for small hollow forms. At 15.25 inches, each Mini Hollower has a straight, slightly angled (45 degrees), or L-hook (90 degrees) configuration on a square-shaped bar with easy-to-grip American maple handle.

The Mini Easy Hollowers™ come equipped with our Patented Negative Rake Carbide Cutters™ for better control with a less aggressive cut; the Negative Rake Carbide Cutter minimizes the severity of unexpected catches that can occur when creating a hollow form. Their square-shaped tool bar design provides a shorter learning curve, too; the resultant parallel turning geometry means fewer catches and kick-backs overall.

Mini Hollowers are sold separately or in a three-piece, felt-lined kit in a clear acrylic slide box.
